The Age of Conquest
The Fourth and current Age of Anakainosis focuses on the expansion of smaller kingdoms into the untamed wild of the world. Kingdoms like Xerdani encourage their citizens to explore beyond the reaches of the realm in hopes of discovering and controlling areas of interest and use. From abandoned mines filled with metal ore for weapons and infrastructure to newfound waterways for increased trade and exploration, rulers are excited for any adventuring party to go forth and conquer new lands in their name. This incredibly lucrative position does not come without intense danger, however. The wild is still home to treacherous creatures who have reclaimed the land as their own. Thousands of years have passed since the Ascension and areas once ruled over by a Kingdom or Coalition are now home to a vast array of beasts, warrior tribes, and rifts between planes.
