THE ASTRAL PLANE
The Skies Above
The Astral Plane exists just beyond the border of Anakainosis. They are so close to each other that they often overlap; a common occurence in the hours when the Sun travels West beyond the Far Peaks. The night sky is not populated by lights representing great balls of gas floating in nothingness millions of lightyears away. The night sky is the Astral Plane: clear, and present, and just out of reach. The lights visible in the night sky are either the souls of great warriors and leaders long forgotten from the Material Plane; or they are proof of bloody escapades fought by alien (a term which hear means extra-planar) societies bent on the destruction of the other. Great terrors of the Astral Sea can even be glimpsed if you know where to look and your soul is in the proper condition to experience such astral horrors.
Of all the lights that shine in the Night Sky, six burn brighter than all the rest. These six stand as watchful lights above Anakainosis, connected by some great meaning lost to time as if they were once part of this world and left of their own free will.
